Northwestern Mutual Financial Network—The Philadelphia Group is Radnor Educational Foundation’s Platinum corporate sponsor supporting public education. The foundation supplements the traditional Radnor education through grants for special curricular programs and needs for students of the Radnor Township School District.

The Philadelphia Group represents a Northwestern Mutual Financial Network Office that has maintained a presence in Philadelphia since 1874. The members of The Philadelphia Group are dedicated to helping clients define their financial values and objectives, and providing products and services designed to further realization of those goals. A team of more than 108 financial professionals comprise the four offices of The Philadelphia Group, which are located in Center City, Mt. Laurel, NJ; Montchanin, DE; and Radnor, PA.

Kevin Hassan, Managing Partner of the Philadelphia Group-Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, and wife Debbie are heavily involved in the arts and education communities in the Philadelphia area. Kevin’s involvement as a board trustee with the Radnor Educational Foundation is very important to his family. His three children attend Radnor schools and he understands the restraints affecting public education and Radnor Township School District. His intent is that Radnor remain the finest school system in the area. Kevin is committed to various social issues, also serving on the executive board of Brent Celek’s Take Flight Foundation. Kevin and Debbie reside in Newtown Square with their three children.

Founded in 1994, REF’s mission is to secure and provide funding and support to enrich the educational experience, maintain academic excellence and create innovative opportunities for the students of Radnor Township School District.
