Tom Lowy

Tom Lowy is a 20-plus year resident of Radnor who graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BA and a post-graduate Master of City Planning (MCP) degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Tom and his wife Elizabeth, who works as a Senior Business Consultant for Aetna, have been living in Wayne since 1994 where they raised both their daughters. One graduated from Radnor High School in 2014. The other graduates from RHS in 2017.

Tom, a well-known Main Line realtor, has served as a director on the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors (PAR) for 10 years was a member of its Legislative and Horizons Committees. He has been elected as a member of PAR’s Finance Committee as of 2017.

Tom has been very active in Radnor educational and civic affairs. He was on the NWPA Board in the late 90s. Tom was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Radnor Educational Foundation in June, 2016, where he serves on the Development Committee.

Tom served as a PTSA volunteer for 15 years from K through 12 with both daughters; he coached Radnor Girls Recreation Basketball for 12 years; and was the liaison between Radnor High School PTSA and the Radnor Educational Foundation for four years. He helped build the WES Kindergarten garden and the WES bird garden. He helped paint the Radnor Middle School Library Mural. He has volunteered during Parks and Recreation events, Radnor Conservancy events and is currently working on the Forge to Refuge bicycle trail. Tom was responsible in part for creating the Radnor Conservancy’s Conservation Easement policy. Tom currently co-chairs the REF Development Committee.
