Over $15,000 awarded to Radnor Township Schools in support of science education equipment

Wayne, PA — VWR International, LLC recently awarded Radnor Educational Foundation (REF) over $ 15,000 to purchase science education equipment for Radnor Township schools. The equipment purchase will include digital and electric microscopes, bunsen burners, beakers, scales, thermometers, an earthquake table and a weather station.

The equipment will meet the specific needs of the science programs offered and will allow teachers to properly deliver the curriculum in a creative way. Future opportunities for professional development for science teachers will be offered by VWR personnel.

We are thankful to community-based VWR for their generous donation of science equipment to replace and enhance basic scientific lab instrumentation to continue and foster a high level of inquiry-based science education at Radnor Middle School.
