For the Summer of 2026, the Radnor Educational Foundation welcomes two interns to support its activities, both rising seniors at Radnor High School. Sophia Kong will be REF’s Marketing & Communications intern, and Norah Ellis will be REF’s Data Analytics & Grant Support intern. Their skills and experience will benefit their peers, as well as Radnor teachers, administrators, parents, and community members as the Foundation plans a new year of grants funding.
Sophia Kong has a passion for outreach and community impact. She has experience in nonprofit leadership, social media outreach, and event planning through nonprofit organizations such as Music Angels and Cancer Kids First, where she has helped support patients and initiatives reaching thousands of students and volunteers worldwide. In addition to her service work, Sophia plays violin in Radnor High School’s Symphony Orchestra and is a varsity swimmer competing at the Central League level. Through her involvement in academics, athletics, music, and service, she is excited to bring her creativity and dedication to the Radnor Educational Foundation.
Norah Ellis is also excited to work with REF this summer as a data intern to gain new business experience and — as a lifelong Radnor student — help contribute to its mission to give back to the educational community. Norah is involved in Model Congress as well as serving as the Radnor Township School Board finance committee intern. She is a member of the National Honors Society and an associate member of the Radnor Environmental Advisory Council. Norah plays on both the Radnor High School girls’ volleyball and squash teams. Outside of school, she loves to read, ski, and travel with friends and family.Â
