Karen is the proud parent of 4 children, all of whom have graduated from, or currently attend, RTSD schools. Karen has co-chaired the Staff Appreciation Committees at both RMS and RHS and served as the Before School Sports Club Chair at Ithan Elementary. She is a past Board Member of Montgomery Early Learning Centers, where she chaired the Personnel Committee. Karen has also served as Registration Secretary for Radnor Girls Crew Club, and recently acted as chair of the Radnor Educational Foundation’s Community Outreach Committee.

Karen received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees from Millersville University. She is a former middle and high school English Language Arts teacher. Karen has worked in education for the past 30 years and is currently the Director of Digital Content at SAFARI Montage, a K-12 curriculum learning object repository based out of Conshohocken.
