Karen and her husband, Zach, are the proud parents of 4 children, all of whom have attended or currently attend Radnor schools. They have lived in Radnor Township for 17 years and consider themselves very fortunate to be a part of the RTSD family.

Karen has co-chaired the Staff Appreciation Committees at both RMS and RHS, and has also served as the Before School Sports Club Chair at Ithan Elementary. She is a past Board Member of Montgomery Early Learning Centers, where she chaired the Personnel Committee. The Conen family is also a host family to a current ABC House scholar.

Karen received both her Bachelor of Science and Master degrees in Education from Millersville University. She is a former middle and high school Language Arts teacher. Karen has worked in education for the past 20 years and is currently the Director of Digital Content at SAFARI Montage, a K-12 digital learning platform, in Conshohocken.

In her spare time, Karen enjoys swimming, reading and traveling with her family.
