Steven K. Gerber

Steven K. Gerber joined Cozen O’Connor in 1992 and practices in the Philadelphia office’s Subrogation & Recovery Department.

Steve devotes his practice to the prosecution of complex large property loss subrogation matters, including actions arising from fires, building collapses, water damage, and product failures.

Steve has achieved subrogation recoveries on behalf of clients in scores of actions in numerous jurisdictions including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. Steve has also successfully resolved many matters for clients utilizing alternative dispute resolution methods including mediation. Steve frequently speaks on subrogation and recovery related topics.

Steve served as an elected school director on the Radnor Township School Board from 2007 through 2011, serving as board president in 2009, and serving on the policy and facilities committees. Steve has also served as a member of the Delaware County Intermediate Unit Board, the Radnor Township Parks and Recreation Board, and the board of the Radnor Soccer Club.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College in 1987, where he rowed crew, and following which he taught at an independent school in New Jersey. Steve earned his law degree from the College of William and Mary in 1992, where he was active in Moot Court and was a member of the Moot Court Board.

His daughters Emily and Meghan are both graduates of Radnor High School. His daughter Katie is in Radnor Middle School.
