Sophia Avanzato’s involvement in REF began initially began as a committee member for the Annual Benefit. Since then, she has been a member of the marketing committee. Her non-profit volunteer experience includes two terms on the Executive Committee of the Radnor Elementary PTO and five years as a Trustee of the Haverford Library. She is a magna cum laude graduate of the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Sophia and her husband, Mike Blumberg, reside in Villanova, PA with their daughters, Alexia (RMS) and Layla (RES).
